secoma4 Posted February 23, 2014 #2 Share Posted February 23, 2014 Hi Kiwicruiser We are boarding in HK and going through to Mumbai. Disembarked in Venice from Sojourn previously (9 months ago). To get to the railway station you need to walk with your luggage to the water taxi point (not far) and get a water taxi there to drop you at the station. Luggage on the trains is not an issue as long as you can manage your own. Everyone has luggage. There will be a lot of people booking water taxis but it is reasonably organized. The alternative would be to book a car to pick you up from the wharf. It will be more expensive than water taxi/train.
johnnycruise Posted February 23, 2014 #3 Share Posted February 23, 2014 I recommend you have a private car service meet you at the dock and drive you to your destination in Verona. Expect to pay about 200 Euros. Other options will have a tremendous hassle factor if you have more than one rollerbag each.
