Savings by chartering helicopter tour in Juneau

Hi I can't seem to find these posts again, though I've seen some where people said they got cheap helicopter tours in Juneau by chartering and diving the cost instead of paying per a person. I called coastal and their charter rate is 3100 an hour... Which is far more per person than the 275 they charge for the 1 hr tour.

 

Does anyone have any experiences with doing a charter?
