Beach option for Bari, Corfu, Piraeus, Santorini & Dubrovnik

We will be on MSC Fantasia this June. Our group consists of friends from US and friends from France. The US group enjoys history, cultural, architecture while the France group is looking for a relax day at the beach. Would greatly appreciate for any information for sandy beach within a reasonable distance from port.

From Bari we took a train to Polignano A Mare. It was a fantastic day. If you do a search on the Italy board you will find the information on how to go about getting there. It was unbelievably beautiful!:)

 

My first trip to The Greek Islands is in May so I have no advice on any beaches in Greece to offer you.

Hi, I'll do the same route in August 2014, please post some tips and hints on your way back, I'll check it ;-)
