Sun Princess rerouted to avoid possible cyclone in Fiji

On board the Sun Princess, just sailing away from Port Vila in Vanuatu. Captain came on the PA a short while ago explaining that due to forecasts of "hurricane strength" winds later in the week en route to Fiji, we're being rerouted to miss all four of our scheduled Fiji ports. Instead, we have four new ports in Vanuatu and New Caledonia.

Thanks for the info. The most important thing is to stay safe. Kudos to Princess for re-routing you to a safer passage and new ports.

A bit of a shame since we have already been to 2 out of the 4 new ports, but I very much doubt Fiji would be much fun under the circumstances!
