Alaska Rainforest Sanctuary & Crab Feast - Ketchikan - any reviews?

We did a similar excursion with Royal Caribbean and went to the rainforest sanctuary. We walked through the rain forest, toured an old logging factory, saw a totem pole being crafted, spent some time in a gift shop, and took our photo next to some totem poles. DH and I enjoyed the tour. It was different than the other excursions we'd been on. We got to see a variety of wildlife, including eagles, bear, reindeer, and owl. It's probably not as adventurous as whale watching on the open sea, but it was informative and interesting, nonetheless. After we were finished with the 3 hour tour, we spent time exploring Creek Street.

We didn't do this exact excursion either, but did do the crab feast portion. It was delicious and crabs were plentiful! Our tour included a boat trip where they pulled up crab pots and talked about the harvesting. It was interesting. Thinking about doing it again, or maybe doing the tour you're interested in just to go eat again!
