karenam Posted March 12, 2014 #1 Share Posted March 12, 2014 We will be in Moorea for 3 days before our Pacific Princess cruise staying at Hotel Les Tipaniers. We will have a car. Where is the best Polynesian evening show on Moorea? Do you know the cost with dinner or without dinner? My tour books say not to drink the water without boiling. Can we have ice in our drinks at the hotels and restaurants? Brush our teeth at the hotel? We want to rent a car in Papeete on Sunday, before the cruise leaves. Will there be any place beside the Airport rentals open? Thank in advance, Karen
Tikiintahiti Posted March 12, 2014 #2 Share Posted March 12, 2014 The ice is fine at Les Tipaniers, ate there many times. Best show will be at Tiki Village http://www.tikivillage.fr/fr/ Go for the show and not the dinner. The show is very good but dinner ........ just eat before you go. As far as car rentals look at my link http://idx-images.cisdata.net/acnt/images/708/AR408708/file_manager/Around_the_ship_dock_area_of_Papeete.pdf
karenam Posted March 13, 2014 Author #3 Share Posted March 13, 2014 thank you so much for your quick answer. We leave Tuesday and are excited. We keep adding subtracting cloths in the guest room. I am debating on wearing shorts or crop pants on tours. I am 68 and don't look that good in shorts. Thanks again for your help Karen
Tikiintahiti Posted March 13, 2014 #4 Share Posted March 13, 2014 Karen .......... There will be others who don't look great in shorts but you will be glad you did. 100% Cotton is the way to go. Take half of what you think you will need, everyone always over packs ;)
