NMLady Posted March 17, 2014 #2 Share Posted March 17, 2014 Can one order a cooked breakfast from room service? I think the suites can. But balcony category and lower categories can only order continental cold breakfast.
umpy10 Posted March 17, 2014 #3 Share Posted March 17, 2014 A "cooked " breakfast as in Bacon and Eggs ? Only if you're in a Suite and it's just a "continental" breakfast for the rest of the cabins. You used to be able to order a 3 Egg Omelet from room service but that was removed from the R.S. menu a while back. cheers...the Ump...:D
kcwingwalker Posted March 17, 2014 #4 Share Posted March 17, 2014 Can one order a cooked breakfast from room service? If you are in a suite (not a mini suite) your butler will take your order and deliver a cooked breakfast to your cabin. Other cabin categories can order their breakfast the night before, there will be a tag to fill out and hang on the outside of your door. Items include hot beverages, toast, pastries, cereal, fruit, etc. Some like to have coffee delivered to have something while dressing. Then go to the MDR or the buffet for breakfast. NW Pacific Posted March 19, 2014 #7 Share Posted March 19, 2014 NO, to the best of my knowledge- you will have a room service menu in your room- just continental- included in your cruise fare except for a tip most people do to the server.
theonlywaytogo Posted March 19, 2014 #8 Share Posted March 19, 2014 In all rooms, you can order scrabbled eggs, bacon, and sausage.
time2cruise1 Posted March 19, 2014 #9 Share Posted March 19, 2014 (edited) In all rooms, you can order scrabbled eggs, bacon, and sausage. Never seen that as an option for non suite staterooms in 40+ NCL cruises. They did have omelettes all day for a while a few years ago. The 24 hour omelettes were discontinued and those had been the only hot egg dishes possible.

I specifically looked for breakfast items on my Feb Dawn cruise, because DH eats breakfast early, I do not. Nothing but continental breakfast (door hanger) offered. Probably one of my very few issues with NCL is their room service offerings.
