Soda Package

If we get the $6.50 ROYAL REFRESHMENT soda package do we need to keep the cup with us or can we just go to a bar and get a soda?

 

 

All of our previous cruises have been on Carnival so we're used to just flashing the card.

You can get a fountain soda at any bar. No need to carry around the souvenir cup.

Great! Thanks for the quick reply. My DH gets a bit seasick and needs some ginger ale now and then. Hopefully he'll be able to get that.

However from what I've read here, is that if you are on a ship that offers the Freestyle machines, you will need the souvenir cup with the RFID chip to use the machines, otherwise, you would be limited to the standard, Coke, Diet Coke, etc flavors from the bar gun.
