I'm sure this has been answered before somewhere in another thread; but haven't come across it yet.

Does anyone know what time the port allows passengers to enter the parking garage?

Also...I've heard that they have made some changes as far as how you enter the Terminal as far as lines, priority / FTTF, etc. Since I purchased the FTTF I want to make sure we get in the correct lines. The last time I cruised out of NOLA was 1/2013.

If you get there before 9:30 the traffic will be terrible. There is a prime window between 9:30 and 10:30 where traffic is not so bad.

 

The port process is similar, after getting through security just walk through the terminal and FTTF/priority will peel off before the regular check in desks.

Just got back yesterday from New Orleans on the Sunshine. We arrived to the port at about 10:30am and had to wait for about 15 minutes in a line to finally get parked. We did NOT have FTTF and were still on the ship at 11:30am sitting down munching on a Guy's burger. The priority lines were clearly marked.
