AMA - Druro River with Madrid & Lisbon 2015

We are conisdering an AMA trip on the Druro River with their extensions to Madrid and Lisbon and our question is whether this is a very popular route? We note that they use a smaller boat and this has prompted our question.

 

In addition, if you have taken this trip, or been in the this area in the past, are ther 'must do's" or 'must see's' that are just not to be missed? Or any other comments that you care to make?

We leave for this river cruise this next week, although with Uniworld, but plan on reporting back after we return because it is difficult to find much about this itinerary. Everything we have heard about Portugal has been extremely positive and we are looking forward to experiencing this part of the world!

We are doing this cruise this year on AmaVida. We are doing the full excursion, starting with three days in Madrid and ending with three days in Lisbon. So the itinerary start date (not a "sail date") is July 5.

 

I started a roll call but have had no activity.

 

I write reviews, so there will be one posted here after we return. They are not short reviews so you can look for it in late July or early August.
