Do they make you sit with others for anytime dining?

Depending on when you go, you may have to wait for a table to open, but you just tell the hostesses/maître d' what size table/how many people in your party and they'll seat you. No bunching with others unless you want to.

As others have said, not unless you agree to. With a party of 5 it is unlikely they would even ask. I will say though that when my husband and I cruised Canada without our children that one of the highlights of our cruise was dining with an older couple - Mary and Joe. Fascinating people! :)
