How to buy OBC?

I'd like to buy some OBC before our cruise with the Epic in July (yes, I'm aware that there are disadvantages to this), but I can't find where and how to do it.

 

The only thing I see in my NLC account, is the possibility to buy gift certificates for OBC.

 

While I guess I could also do that, I'd feel a bit silly because I just want to buy some OBC and have it appear on our account at the start of the cruise. I don't need gift cards.

 

Also, I'm not sure if there's any technical difference between pre-buying OBC and pre-buying OBC gift cards. Meaning, what you can use them for.

You can call NCL and have them add it to your on board account. They will then email you an amenities statement showing how much you have.

OCMS FAN directed you to the right area. The OBC credit starts at $25. I've done this two years in a row now and will continue to do it on any future cruise I go on. It's a great idea! Last year I started buying OBC in August and my cruise was in November. I had $700 on my account when I boarded. This year I cruise in October and have already started purchasing OBC. I'll be at $1300 when I board the ship! Such a great feeling to know I have money waiting on me! Just make sure you keep a record of what you purchased.
