We are going on our first cruise. We have passports do we need to get a visa? We are going to cozumel? Thanks

Your passports are all you will need. Make sure that you have a scanned or Xeroxed copy of them at home in case the originals get lost, and have a wonderful cruise! You'll just *love* Cozumel! :D

Last December, when we returned to our ship, at Cozumel, we had to show our passports before boarding. You might want to carry them with you when going ashore. Have a blast in Coz.

DH and I also carry a copy of each others passport with our own. Came in handy in France when I thought mine was lost (it had fallen down into the handle of my pully) and I was about to be pulled out (of the airline, line, I was already in the airport) to go to emigration!:eek:

You had to do this? They never asked for mine when I boarded the ship just showed the sign and sail card. I know how shifty looking you are (NOT)...hmmm must have been all that liquor you were trying to carry onboard :) hehehehehe

Just back from the Elation to Bahamas cruise. We took our passports and the only place we had to show them was on our return to the ship in Key West!!!
