Nassau for First Time, What to do?

We just booked our first cruise to Bahamas this month. We are suppose to arrive at 1200PM -8:00PM. We are really interested in spending the whole day at Atlantis, however paying 140 for just 4 hours in a water park does not really make too much sense to me. Any all inclusive day pass that would allows us to have a good time??

Also should I bring any cash with me??? Do I need to buy the Atlantis Packages trough the ship line??

Please any good advise to first timers would be Welcomed.

Thanks

We are not the type to do Atlantis, what we did was hop a ride with a tour driver, Tommy Bahama for $20 a piece and got to all the highlighted spots. The only thing we missed was passed on the third day at a beach.

We got off the ship at 11:00 and were back on about 4:00, leaving at 5:00. This time we will do the tour, rum cake factory, fort, staircase, market, pirates museum and maybe if time Junkaboo beach. If not maybe eat locally.

I just could see the reason for us to pay the money for Atlantis, but that is us. We saw it during the tour and I just thought it was pricy.

Atlantis allows you to purchase day passed which are cheaper than carnival arm and a leg deal I think it's 70 but you can't pre-order you have to actually go to the main lobby.

Day passes run from $125 - 145 depending on the season.

You can prebook thru Majestic tours bahamas.

They are the only operators allowed to sell advanced tickets.

Contact them for details, they don't advertise.
