Really Enjoyed Divina!

We just returned from a short 2night sailing aboard Divina. Happy to report that after this taste we will be sailing on her again!

No, she is not the typical "American" based cruise ship, but that is what we enjoyed the most. We found the food to be very good. Our balcony cabin was just about perfect. The service and attitude from the crew just right. We don't enjoy being bombarded with someone asking us every few minutes if we want a drink or to take our picture. I found that this cruise was very quiet in those areas. Also, this is by far the cleanest ship I have ever been on. 3 pools, and they were very large. Waterslide looked like a lot of fun.

The ship is beautiful. There are sooo many nice places to sit and people watch or have drink. This goes for the interior and exterior areas. And... bathrooms everywhere! They seem to have gotten the music right. No blaring annoying music by the pool. It was just the right volume. We found this to be true all over the ship.

We enjoyed our dinners and conversation. I don't want to be rushed. Our waiter was very nice and there were no language barriers. I think we were the last table to leave each night. I guess this is very un-American....LOL!!!!

Everyone has their own expectations. We were very happy on Divina and will definitely try a longer voyage in the future!

We were on this sailing as well Susie. This short trip was our introductory cruise for our week long sailing in August. The food, service, and entertainment was spectacular! We loved the ability to lay on the pool deck without the obnoxiously loud music, and loved having drinks brought to us without even asking. The Yacht Club experience is everything it is advertised to be and then some!! I miss our butler Jonathan already:( The only mistake we made was getting off the ship in Nassau though. Midway through our shore excursion, we really started to miss being on the boat and couldn't wait to get back on.

Well, we were not in the Yacht Club :-( but, I did see the butlers escorting passengers to their cabins! Maybe next time for us.

Did you see the Elton John show in the atrium? We thought he was really good.

That was the one show I wanted to see but never got the chance to. I have heard from past cruisers that he was spectacular!! This was a very short cruise and there simply wasn't enough of time to do and see everything. We did make it to the one show that was a "Must" for us and that was the Michael Jackson Starwalker show.

The Yacht Club was fantastic Susie. For us,,this is the only way to go. We didn't purchase in the Yacht Club for the butler service or the extra amenities, we primarily purchased it for the all inclusive drinks, the other amenities were a bonus for us. I must warn you though, once you book in the Yacht Club, you'll never want to stay anywhere else on the ship again.
