Disembark POM, 12:15 Flight out of FLL doable?

We are on the Carnival Breeze in July out of Miami and I am wondering if it is feasible to make a 12:15 pm flight out of Ft. Lauderdale? We are considering using Carnival transfers to the airport.

Are you flying direct to Canada? This is doable, as long as you are off the ship by 9:00 am (or earlier if possible), cleared customs, and arrive at the airport by 10:00 am to check-in.

Most of the cruise lines want you to be on a flight after 1pm if using their transfers. They normally wait until the bus is full before they leave for the airport.

No actually we are flying into Buffalo, NY on Southwest Airlines where we do park and fly (MUCH cheaper than flying directly into Canada).

It would probably be faster and less costly. SAS costs $15 per person.

We did this....off the ship first with fttf...grabbed a cab right outside terminal and at fll before 9:30.
