Okay i've got a security question. On planes you can't take things like razors, nail clippers, on the plane. You can take them on the ship right?

You can. In fact, airlines never stopped you from storing them in checked luggage. Only as "carry-on items." Lastly, you can now include small nail clippers as airline "carry-ons"

One of my cruise buddies had a pair of scissors in her checked luggage. It was a regular pair that you cut material with. She was called down to the pursers desk and asked to open her luggage. So, I wouldn't take any pointy scissors or knives in my luggage.
