Martinique on Sunday, Jan. 1??

Are we completely out of luck of finding anything open on New Year's Day, which is also a Sunday in Martinque?

 

We don't have a long time in port (just 7 am to 2 pm) and, being a Francophile, I was hoping to get to Marigold and spend time there. Suggestions are welcome...
