Travelers Checks, Cash or Credit?

I am leaving Sunday on Serenade and just curious how to pay for everything. I plan on using my Seapass for most items on board but am not sure how much cash or travelers checks to bring. What does everyone do in port? Should I even bother with the travelers checks? Appreciate opinions. Thanks!

You'll want enough cash for minor purchases and gratuities for your shore excursion operators. Debit and credit cards are widely accepted reducing the need for cash. You'll find ATM's readily available or cashing a travelers check for additional cash is also an option. Limit the amount of US currency you spend in Canada as you'll normally get your change back in CA money. Most credit cards will give you the best exchange rate so utilize them in Canada rather than using greenbacks.

HAVE A GREAT TRIP!
