duty free shops

I understand that if you purchase some alcohol from the duty free shops it will be delivered to your room the night before the last day of the cruise. How early in the night? Early enough to enjoy what you bought while onboard the last night? Also, how much is it for David's Dinner club? Is it $25 per person? thanks

We just returned from a 5 day cruise on the Sensation (too much fun!). My husband bought a bottle of rum in the ship shop about 4PM the last day which he was allowed to bring back to the room. The cashier told him there would be a big rush shortly from folks who wanted to do just that.

They had ours at our door by dinner (we were early seating) on our cruise. We brought it to the show and enjoyed rum with the tablemates we'd met that week. (disguised, of course) We were over our limit for customs anyway, so we had to do our share. LOL!
