GOLF in Jamaica

Has anybody had experience playing golf in Jamaica? My husband would like to play one round of golf during our cruise.

 

The two available courses listed under excursions are SANDALS GOLF AND COUNTRY CLUB and RUNAWAY BAY GOLF COURSE.

 

Any suggestions?

My wife and I played Runaway Bay last January. It was about a thirty minute drive to the course from the cruise dock. The course has a nice layout with some tight shots and small greens, although the fairways are mostly open. The clubhouse staff was friendly and we had a great time with our caddy and our playing companion from Denmark. You can find the score card and course description on the web. Enjoy
