Tours port Vila

Recommended Posts

We spent a week or so here for our daughters wedding a couple of years ago.

Cascade falls is worth the look, have a swim or just sight see.

We also did a buggy ride through villages and through Villa, they are located in town, better to book direct, again watch what time you get back.

You can also hire a mini van for a half day tour or a longer drive if this does not stop you boarding on time, there are plenty to chose from.

If chosing a mini van, barter for a reasonable price, quite cheap if you get the right driver and price.

When we are there in late october we are doing a helicopter ride, good price and apparently you fly past the ship in port.

Good Luck

Glenn

Hi - we took a tour to Crystal Blue Bay - the water color was gorgeous - they had a turtle rehabilitation centre and coconut crabs. It was a few years ago and they were working on improvements. There are great markets in the centre of town too. I know there is a new tour and souvenir shop in town (and it's air conditioned :))so worth a visit :)

Totally recommend Cascade Waterfalls, absolutely magic place.

We also enjoyed snorkelling at Hideaway Island.

If you book a mini van for the day, you'll be able to fit so much in. We've also on other trips to Vila done horseriding along the beach, zorbing down hills and swam in the beautiful blue hole.

There's so much to do in Vila - Enjoy!!!!!

The short answer is yes, they normally get a commission or bonus from the places they visit if they are a commercial type business.

They will also take you to tourist type places with no commissions, generally speaking they will ask you what variations you want to see.

Their time is their own so you are really just paying for the taxi ride with local knowledge.

Hope this helps.
