pb19 Posted July 7, 2014 #2 Share Posted July 7, 2014 We were on the 13th sailing of the Sunshine last September (Med cruise, 12 days) and we sailed on her again this past April on the repo (11 days) from NOLA to Cape Canaveral. We loved every minute of both cruises. I always love to see another positive review! Glad you all enjoyed your trip! I hope more people will ignore the bad reviews and give this ship a chance. Imachillin Posted July 7, 2014 #3 Share Posted July 7, 2014 That's good news. We are sailing the Sunshine at the end of August, and after reading some reviews, I wondered if I should have changed ships. We were on the Dream last October, and it was so crowded everywhere. Some of the things I have read about the Sunshine make it sound like that crowded Dream.
CruiseHealing Posted July 7, 2014 #4 Share Posted July 7, 2014 We did Subshine's first cruise out of Port Canaveral this past April. The Sunshine was escorted out to sea by fire boats spraying in the air. It was awesome! We had so much fun we booked another sailing this October. The only real problem was the first day at sea the AC for our section of cabins were shut down for maintenance. About 3 hours. But we were on deck enjoying the ship so we only noticed that the cabin was warmer than normal for about an hour. But with the balcony we sat outside and watch the sea go by, and enjoyed the Sunshine!

sailingwithfriends Posted July 7, 2014 #6 Share Posted July 7, 2014 That's good news. We are sailing the Sunshine at the end of August, and after reading some reviews, I wondered if I should have changed ships. We were on the Dream last October, and it was so crowded everywhere. Some of the things I have read about the Sunshine make it sound like that crowded Dream. I have sailed on the Dream and Sunshine. Love them both. However, I felt the Dream was more crowded than the Sunshine. The only crowds I saw on the Sunshine was in the buffet on day for lunch. We were coming into port at 1:00PM. Everyone was trying to eat before we got to port. The Sunshine has a lot more places to spread out and eat.
