Transportation from ship to cruise terminal-St. Kitts

Could anyone please tell me if there is any form of transportation to take people from the cruise ship down the dock to the cruise terminal? My friend is getting married in St. Kitts and is concerned about getting to the taxi (outside the terminal) and damaging her dress. Some ports have continuous running jitneys or some sort of transportation for handicapped guests or in this case...brides.

The ship docks very close to the pier terminal where you can find taxi's and tours. It's a quick walk.
