SellaVee Posted July 14, 2014 #1 Share Posted July 14, 2014 Can anyone tell me what makes an A1 cabin worth so much more than an A4? We were recently offered an upgrade to a category A but I was unwilling to give up our B3 extended balcony. It didn't specify the cabin level, A 1,2,3 or 4 so I couldn't tell if it was a good deal or not. I know what the concierge 'perks' are but sometimes the difference between A1 and A4 is substantial. Is it merely a matter of location?
StanandJim Posted July 14, 2014 #2 Share Posted July 14, 2014 It is all about location. The cabins themselves are identical.
digtexas Posted July 15, 2014 #3 Share Posted July 15, 2014 We paid for a concierge level cabin on Riviera last year but chose not to do so on Marina this year. The little concierge lounge was convenient for coffee and mini-buns but the concierge was worthless as far as helping to obtain additional specialty reservations, etc. We never order breakfast from room service anyway and we had no interest in getting into the spa pool. The only advantage that I found was the ability to book specialty restaurant reservations a little earlier than the non-concierge cabins.
