Statendam ocean view rooms question

For those who have sailed on the Statendam, Which ocean view would you prefer and why, Main Deck or Lower Promenade? I just saw on our cruise that all of the suites are sold, thus dashing my hopes for a suite (sweet) upsale! We are booked on the main deck right now. Thanks!

I would choose Main Deck over Lower Promenade. The cabins are larger; it is sandwiched between two passenger decks; you can see the ocean directly from your window, without the wide deck between.

It's still an easy one deck up to the great outdoors, so you aren't losing much on that score.

I would choose Main Deck as Ruth has said. I consider the ones on Lower Prom to be cave like. What date is your sailing?
