It'sRC4ME Posted August 9, 2005 #2 Share Posted August 9, 2005 Honestly! The number sounds very familiar, but it's been about 5 years since we were on Voyager. Anyway, even if it wasn't exactly the same cabin, our cabin was on Deck 3 right across the hall from the disco. I was worried too. However, the disco is really well insulated, so no sound escapes. Not even a low thumping bass sound. I brought ear plugs just in case, and i needed them because the folks in the cabin next door were pretty loud, but never heard a peep from the Vault. Enjoy your cruise.
grvdggr71 Posted August 9, 2005 #3 Share Posted August 9, 2005 It's harmenically sealed - virtually soundproof! Amazing what they can do with sound dampening these days...
Conte Biancomano Posted August 9, 2005 #4 Share Posted August 9, 2005 I think I can vouch for that. On Mariner of the Seas our cabin was just somewhat down the hall from it, and we heard nothing- not even when passing directly by!
