Bear viewing cruise in Ketchikan

We are planning to be in Ketchikan on Sept. 11 and would like to know if anyone has taken the Princess "Neets Bay Bear Cruise" in Ketchikan? We are thinking of taking it but would like opinions from others that had did it. Was it good and did you see any bears feeding? Are there other private companies that offer that type of tour?

In Sept some bears have moved away from Neets Bay. Depending on the vendor and the time, it would be vital to not have a short tour. Fly in sightings are most likely more successful.

On September 11 we have reserved the Traitors' Cove bear viewing by floatplane with Michelle of Island Wings. Our return flight to Ketchikan will be via Misty Fjords (we have 9 hours in Ketchikan, including 3-4 hours at Traitors' Cove) - hope we get to see some bears!
