What foods/resturants would you reccommend?

Recommended Posts

We will be in Copenhagen for a day and a half. Can you reccommend a lunch place and also a specific place in Tivoli for dinner?

Also any ideas for Talinn, Helsinki and Stockholm since we will be on our own?

Berlin and SPB we will be on tours.

Thanks for any and all help!

Hi, Linda! On the surface, your question seems good, easy, quick and simple. BUT, not so fast!! What's your budget range? In Copenhagen and Stockholm, things are very, very costly! Not cheap!! How much are you willing to spend and what type/style of food are you seeking?? Both of these cities have some very high-end, ultra-foodie places. Around Tivoli, you look around, check out menus, see what fits your needs, wallets and interests.

For Helsinki, their big market area adjacent to the main downtown and waterside, has lots of options, if you like that kind of dining. In Tallinn, we dined for lunch at a place on their main square that worked well. Below are a few of my pictures to give you a little sampling on the range of options.

THANKS! Enjoy! Terry in Ohio

Outdoor lunch options on Tallinn’s main square:

At lunch, enjoying Tallinn’s local beer. This is the most popular beer in Estonia and the oldest operating brewery. Their slogan: "it's about the taste". We agree!!!:

Helsinki’s market area has lots of food and craft stands:
