Shore excursions

I know this may be a stupid question and pre mature but we are anxious to book some shore excursions for our cruise a year from now. How long before the cruise will RCCL provide a list of available excursions? We like to plan in advance and fill our days with anticipation. On Celebrity this has never been a problem.

There's no set time. I've seen shore excursions open over 9 months in advance, and other times around 3 months. Just keep checking the website.

We book ours starting a year out, but virtually always go with private excursions, never Rccl's.

While you're waiting, get guidebooks on your ports and find out something about where you're going! You may find that the things that interest you don't require an excursion at all! This will satisfy your "anticipatory" needs, and you'll learn enough to really make your time ashore something special! Libraries have guidebooks in the travel section...or you can buy them.

We have all our excursions booked for our June 2015 Jewel Alaska cruise, all were available to book 4 weeks ago.

We were surprised how early they were available:)

 

So a nice expense out of the way nicely in advance
