Buckeye Geo Posted August 12, 2005 #1 Share Posted August 12, 2005 I need some information as to whether Harbor Nights will be held on Wednesday October 19th. It is not listed on the calender of events. the 7th and 12th was listed. I am wondering is the Bermuda Yacht Cup Racers, which are being held that week might effect the Harbor Nights schedule? Swizzle v2.0 Posted August 12, 2005 #2 Share Posted August 12, 2005 www.experiencebermuda.com also has Harbour Nights being held weekly from April 27 to October 12. I'll ask around but October 12 might be the last one for the season.
Buckeye Geo Posted August 12, 2005 Author #3 Share Posted August 12, 2005 Thanks Swizzle for your quick response. We will be aboard the Horizon 10/15 - 10/22 and looking forward to Harbour Nights. I am sure I will have enough to keep us busy during our stay in Bermuda

Swizzle v2.0 Posted August 13, 2005 #5 Share Posted August 13, 2005 Harbour Night: Every Wednesday night from around 7-9:30 (during the summer) Front Street in Hamilton is closed to traffic and they have a street fair with people selling crafts from tables and so forth, and usually Gombey Dancers. NakedLidoGuy Posted November 27, 2005 #11 Share Posted November 27, 2005 Hey there! Someone on the Celebrity board posted some comments regarding a ferry service from St Georges to Hamilton during that street fair, but it got deleted. How late can one stay in Hamilton for that? I'd love to do a 'late-nite' cruise along the island ... see it from another perspective! ... all lit up at night, with those lights on the shore!! Swizzle v2.0 Posted November 28, 2005 #12 Share Posted November 28, 2005 Currently no, the last ferry leaves St. Georges at 3:45pm, arriving in Hamilton at 5:15pm. No ferries to St. Georges after that. If you plan to go to Bermuda next summer check the schedule anyway. WHo knows, maybe they'll add a later ferry in 2006? MeBob Posted January 4, 2006 #13 Share Posted January 4, 2006 My wife went off the Zenith to walk Front Street during harbor night. She returned to the ship and told me she did not feel safe with on the street. I know this is a unusual statement to make since Bermuda has always been a safe and comfortable place. It's just a work of advice. MeBob tells it as it is
