Port of New Orleans Rental Car?

Can someone tell me if Port of New Orleans has a rental car company located fairly close to it? DW and I are thinking about renting a car when we arrive at the airport on Sat. and wanting to drop it off at the port. TIA

There isn't a rental car company close to the port but there is Budget Rental Car on Canal Street that will provide shuttle service to the cruise port. We have rented from here numerous times and it is very convenient

There's a Hertz location on Convention Center Blvd that's a reasonably short walk away from the Julia St terminal. If you're able to walk two blocks with your luggage then this option could work for you.
