Thanks for all you info you provide me. I did the bare minimum on NCL, for about $2,500 I had a coordinator, officiant, music, cake for 4, champagne, bouquet and boutennaire. mrstriceasnice Posted August 27, 2014 #3 Share Posted August 27, 2014 We are getting married out of Port Canaveral on embarkation day. With Carnival the price varies from port to port. For us plus 6 guests, cake, champagne, officiant, flowers, coordinator, four course meal with wine it was about $1700. Again this will vary from package to package or port to port. The list of packages along with by port pricing is found here: http://www.carnival.com/~/media/CCLUS/Images/pdf/Weddingspricelistpdf.ashx After that you have add ons, extra guests, marriage license, clothing, etc to consider. Including our cruise, hotels, rental car, excursions, post cruise activities, flight... our budget comes in just under $5000.
Carnival_Brides Posted August 27, 2014 #4 Share Posted August 27, 2014 Our original embarkation wedding (what is now the Celebrate Big package) in Baltimore with 50 guests was supposed to cost around $3,500 with tax (including the pianist for the reception). We ended up doing the bare minimum to make it legal before we left and had an at-sea ceremony for $850. The only thing that was different was the bouquet is single rose (we had real-touch silks so it didn't matter) and we didn't have a third-party coordinator (Wedding for You, TWE, etc). Our sailing group would have been 17 if everyone had made it to the port. We took the price difference and subsidized the cruise for our parents and siblings. ImaginationCruiseBride Posted August 27, 2014 #5 Share Posted August 27, 2014 I think we were somewhere around $2400 not including the price of the cruise. We go lunch on the Lido deck for 16 non sailing guests, the wedding, coordinator (who didn't show up so we got a partial refund), officient that we didn't use because we brought our own, so he played the part of the coordinator, sort of, we also had a social host, bouquet, boutonneire, runner, pedestals with flower arrangements, 11 hors deauveres, hosted bar (all you can drink of any drink, both alcoholic and non alcoholic), 2 tier wedding cake, champagne toast, bottle of champagne and chocolate dipped strawberries delivered to our room, priority boarding for us and the wedding guests, all three of the sailing guests cabins ready when we got there and the photographer. We sailed Carnival and had the one hour reception.
ImaginationCruiseBride Posted August 27, 2014 #6 Share Posted August 27, 2014 I just asked my husband he said it was $2285.96, but we got back $50 out of that for the coordinator being a no show.
