Greenock, Scotland

Recommended Posts

Greenock was also a wonderful port for us. We just returned on 9/8. We took one of the free tours around the city, and then had lunch is a pub at the end of the tour. The hosts of the tour and volunteer organization members were very friendly and warm. At sail away a drum and bagpipe band of young teens entertained us at the pier. All in all it was a special visit.

Hopefully so :D

Sadly was not to be. Too many fearties.

Anyway back to Greenock. Best and easiest way to see Glasgow from Greenock is a taxi for 4 passengers for a fixed price of £40 direct to George Square.

You will be in George Square approx 35 mins from leaving the terminal.
