Excursion Email Specials?

I received an email offering special pricing for an excursion during our upcoming cruise. I do not see this same price offered when I go through the Cruise Planner - even if I click the link in the email.

 

I'm not actually ready to pull the trigger on this since it's still a bit higher than I'd like to pay for a short port stop, and we want to make sure the weather cooperates. I'd still like the option of that lower price though once we're on the ship - if possible.

 

Anyone with any experience with getting an email special price if you wait to book on-board instead of in advance?
