Susa Posted August 15, 2005 #1 Share Posted August 15, 2005 When sailing Ded 5, are the shows likely to have holiday themes or do they keep them pretty neutral?
Desertbelle Posted August 15, 2005 #2 Share Posted August 15, 2005 In our one experience cruising at that time of year, December 7-20 on the Legend of the Seas, there were no holiday themed shows that we saw. The ship was decorated top to bottom, and it looked beautiful.
drfun48 Posted August 15, 2005 #3 Share Posted August 15, 2005 When sailing Ded 5, are the shows likely to have holiday themes or do they keep them pretty neutral? On Christmas Eve there have been simple crew participation Christmas shows, ranging from surprisingly good to so-so,but often homey. The Christmas caroling sing-a-longs however are fun. Depending on how long before kids are on board there is a cute to corny show worked out by the counselers. Not likely this year since it is a Saturday. trcori Posted August 15, 2005 #4 Share Posted August 15, 2005 we sailed Millennium in the Eastern Caribbean Dec. 12-19 last year. nothing holiday-themed except for a few decorations around the ship (including restaurant centerpieces) for both Christmas & Hanukkah (part of the latter coincided with the trip; there were electric menorahs at various spots on the ship, lit with the appropriate number of candles each day/night) -- TR
