Oh I agree and on a different thread I believe that Viking has said this is a "permitting" problem they had not anticipate and will be resolved come July. We can hope that they are good to their word ....

We are booked on Portraits of Southern France in Nov 2015 with the Paris post-cruise extension. I am trying to find out when Viking indicates that we will "enjoy a city tour of Paris including the Eiffel Tower", what does that mean? Do we drive by, walk by, actually enter the tower?

We're just trying to find what portions we need to take care of for ourselves so we can make the necessary preparations.

Any information is appreciated.
