MSC Davina dress code

I am travelling on Davina for the first time in Dec. How strict are they with the dress code dining on the lido deck at night. We are not interested in the dining room.

Wear whatever you like,,,but remember no shorts are allowed in the ding rooms after 6:00pm.

The buffet is casual, but the dining room the folks dress up a bit for dinner.

We just got off the Divina today. Last night was a formal night and there were people in jeans and shorts. Apparently they let them in the dining room that way but we didn't see the formal wear that we see on Princess.

If you are only going to dine in the buffet shorts will be fine and they let people in the MDR in shorts also , not many wear shorts but they let them in so just enjoy the cruise.
