Redeemedtrvlr Posted October 26, 2014 #1 Share Posted October 26, 2014 (edited) In port at Limon this November. Only want to do the Canopy tram. Cruise ship excursions are 6+ hours and lots of stuff we aren't interested in. Senior citizens with limited energy and interest in wildlife. Can we do tram only? How? Yes I know, we saw the ship docked at Costa Rica and were excited, didn't notice the only thing around was Rain Forest. pilotdane Posted October 26, 2014 #2 Share Posted October 26, 2014 Try arranging a private tour to do just what you want. But if you are not interested in wildlife I'm curious why you want to do a canopy tram ride?
Redeemedtrvlr Posted October 26, 2014 Author #3 Share Posted October 26, 2014 Well, I said we have limited interest in wildlife, that is not to say we aren't interested or hate it, just don't need a whole day's worth. We both think the ride above the trees to see whatever can be seen will be pleasant. I've found a couple of touring businesses I"m checking with; guess I might be on the right track. pilotdane Posted October 29, 2014 #4 Share Posted October 29, 2014 Just be mindful of destinations that the cruise tours visit. They will arrive by the bus load and probably get preferential treatment. Aerial trams have a finite capacity per hour so you might have to follow your guide's advice and be flexible so you are not waiting for long periods.
