Formal dress on Lirica?

We´re doing the TA grand voyage on Lirica Rio to Genoa in March 2015. Do MSC have proper formal nights on these grand voyage cruises? If so how dressed up do people get eg Tux for OH and long dress for me? We´ve cruised with other lines where the majority of people dressed up for these nights. I would imagine the majority of the passengers on this cruise will be from South America....help please

There will be 4 or 5 formal nights.

I always take long frocks for them but am in the minority as are those in tuxes. Most will dress up to some extent. Airline baggage allowances can be restrictive for some.

I fly BA and buy an extra bag,Robles solved!

Thanks for that. What are the temperatures like in the public rooms? I always find Princess and HAL a little on the chilly side, is that the same on MSC? Do they have the Capt introduce the officers etc or some sort of reception...I supoose free drinks are out of the question :-(
