Accessible transportation in the Bahamas

Just wanted to let others know that full accessible transportation in Nassau does exist! Accessiblebahamas.com provided us with a clean air conditioned van that can accommodate two wheelchairs or scooters with proper tie downs. There is also comfortable seating for six others. As soon as we exited the port terminal their driver found us in the middle of the crowd. We used their service for transport to the Atlantis and will use them again for general sightseeing. A bit pricey for just two people, but definitely worth it. If we had more people going the price would have better, as the cost was per trip and not per person. For those who cannot climb into a car or bus, this was wonderful! No longer are we limited to the port area- thanks to Accessible Bahamas there's a beautiful island to explore!
