not a repeat Ft lauderdale or Miami hotel 3rd night

We are arriving Wednesday afternoon for a Saturday cruise. I booked a room at Marriott Ft Lauderdale at the marina for Wednesday and at the Hyatt Regency Miami for Friday, both through priceline.
I would like to add Thursday to one of these so I can get my great price.
Which one do you folks reccommend? Are both near food, etc.? If we stay at the Marriott we might not rent a car. Any and all suggestions would be appreciated.
