Booked a balcony guarentee on the Magic in Feb.. Got an email offer today for an upgrade so I called...was given the option to choose a balcony room instead of letting Carnival pick for $30 ...I chose cabin 10290 and now I'm wondering if I made a good choice. I looked at it when I booked because it did get some good reviews but it was almost $400 more so I decided not to. Guess I need some reassurance...think I made a good choice?????

Which cruise date? Sounds like a safe decision so you don't have to worry where they put you I ask because I am waiting also on a guarantee assignment for the 2/8 Magic sailing. I got an email to upgrade to a suite for $480 but by the time I opened email and logged in it was expired (which I assume means it was sold out). It would have been nice to have had the option. Happy cruising to you!
