5kids2dogs Posted January 7, 2015 #1 Share Posted January 7, 2015 Anyone use Cozumel insider cruise ship schedule? It shows earlier dock times than Cruisett or Royal Caribbean. Does anyone know which is correct?
Rare crewsweeper Posted January 7, 2015 #2 Share Posted January 7, 2015 Use your ship's itinerary for best guess at docking times. Cozumel Insider, cruisett, Cruise Port Insider, and even the pier's schedules are all done in advance and are subject to change. Additionally, some schedules are on local time and some are on ship time which may be different. I believe RCCL stays on ship time which is the time zone from the originating port fro the cruise. 5kids2dogs Posted January 8, 2015 Author #3 Share Posted January 8, 2015 RC says we arrive at 8:00. If RC stays on ship time from the FL then if we arrive at 8:00 ship time then that's 7:00 local Cozumel, right? I'd like to book a private excursion but I'm not clear as to which time is correct. Rare crewsweeper Posted January 8, 2015 #4 Share Posted January 8, 2015 In your communication with the vendor, ask if the times they are quoting are local or based on ship times from Florida. If local, make the mental adjustment. I doubt any excursion will start as early as 7AM unless you're heading for Tulum or Coba. If they are picking you up at the pier, they'll know if the ship is delayed in debarking and wait for you. But confirm things through the vendor.
