MAGSMFC Posted January 18, 2015 #1 Share Posted January 18, 2015 I am so disappointed to see there is hardly any space for hanging clothes in a balcony cabin. I have seen pictures of a balcony cabin and just can't believe there will be no room to hang my clothes. We are on the cruise from Barcelona to Dubai in May which is a 16 night cruise and I certainly will have a lot more than 5 dresses which someone said there is only room to hang this amount. I have always enjoyed our cruises and dressing up on an evening but the more I read about the ship the more disappointed I am in having booked it. Am I going to have to live out of a suitcase for 16 nights. We cannot cancel due to flights booked and our stay in Dubai afterwards. Any advice on cabins would be greatly appreciated as I need to look forward to the cruise which I feel I am not at the moment.
Rare OceanCruise Posted January 18, 2015 #2 Share Posted January 18, 2015 There are 2 closets which are well designed. One closet has 2 sets of rods and wire baskets on the door. We hung 2 winter coats and a lot of other items. Other closet has shelves and space to hang about 9 or 10 items. We felt this was a better use of space than prior balconies. There are also 7 drawers in the room which we didn't even really need.
