Buquebus Buenos Aires-Colonia del Sacramento

Has anybody used the buquebus ( ferry) from Buenos Aires to Colonia del Sacramento (Uruguay) when staying in Buenos Aires?

We're overnighting in B.A. and this might be an alternative to the usual tours offered - been there, did that...

The only complication I see is the fact that we're docking "at the end of the world" in a commercial harbour whereas the ferry leaves from Puerto Madero, easy to reach from the city, but not from the ship.

Has anybody done that tour? Does anybody know if HAL offers shuttles into the city ( not just to the terminal) on the days when they are overnighting? Thank you for your answers.
