Hair Braiding

So me and my daughter are embarking on our first cruise in March. We are heading to Grand Turk and my daughter wants her hair braided. Does anyone know of any places on the island she can have it done? Thanks in advance!

There's a place near the beach cabanas right at the cruise port that offers this. Look for Monarch Wellness. I think they service the Bohio Resort and a place downtown as well.

Thank you so much!! My Mom just told me Coki Beach in St. Thomas does it as well. I just know if I do it on the ship it will cost me too much.

There are lots of places in St Thomas that hair braid. Seems like every woman under a certain age, and a few beyond, plus every tweenergirl and younger came back with braided hair...Never thought that was attractive on anyone since before "10" came out.:rolleyes: But it's your hair not mine (not enough left, LOL)

haha. I am not sure I am going to let her get her whole head, but just a few braids would be cute on a 6 year old! haha

Monarch Wellness has no longer existed on Grand Turk since 2013. Oceanscapes Spa does in room spa services at Bohio Dive Resort, has a Soothing Space at Osprey Beach Resort and a Beach cabana where massage and hair braiding services are offered infront of the Wooden Boat Casino next to the cruise terminal. Services are provided under the beach tent where combs are sterilized and a cool no hassle environment is offered. Check Oceanscapes Spa website http://www.oceanscapesspa.com. There are also a lot of ladies offering braiding services along the beach in the Margaritaville vicinity where you can barter down prices....
