firsttimecruiser9876 Posted February 17, 2015 #1 Share Posted February 17, 2015 Need some quick help - my final payment is due tonight. Should I purchase the travel insurance that Carnival offers, or is there something better out there? The carnival plan doesn't seem to allow for cancellations for any reason. Does anyone offer this? Does it have to be purchased within a certain timeframe?
Ken076 Posted February 17, 2015 #2 Share Posted February 17, 2015 Actually the Carnival plan (admittedly not the best) does include Cancel for Any Reason for 75% future cruise credit. You should be able to purchase any of the 3rd party plans from CSA, TravelEx, TravelInsured, etc but (except for CSA) you won't be able to get "Waiver of Pre-Existing Conditions or Cancel for Any Reason (to get these you have to purchase 14-21 days after booking. ken
