I read the following on a website but cant find any other information about it.

“Pitt Stop” is a Friday afternoon tradition. Local barbecue masters set up on Bay Road in Basseterre and sell grilled fare from makeshift drums. Hop from stall to stall, gorging on barbecue chicken, ribs, and fish.

This sounds amazing if its still a thing. Has anyone experience this or know more about? What times are they usually out there grilling?!? And where on Bay Road? :D

On Fridays you will see many people cooking over home made grills that are set up along the streets and in their own neighborhoods. They may have grilled fish, chicken or pork, goat water (stew with goat meat) and probably a few surprises depending on the area. think monkey meat. Some will be set up with small benches or tables but most food is sold as "take away".
