hott_michelle2001 Posted February 24, 2015 #1 Share Posted February 24, 2015 Looking at cruising in the fall with DD (17 months) & DS (3 1/2 yrs). Wondering what ship is better for kids? Looking at a 5 day. Weve been on triumph before and it was ok but wanted to try freedom although i disnt see any kiddie areas for the lil ines. sailor_jimc Posted February 24, 2015 #2 Share Posted February 24, 2015 For really young I'd say Freedom without a question. Freedom has the Seuss at Sea and Camp Ocean (well I pretty sure they did camp ocean) I definitely saw the Seuss at Sea parade when we were on her last. Triumph was getting fitted with the Camp Ocean setup in October but Freedom has bigger Camp carnival area in general (circle C and Club O2)
Rare sandinmyshoes Posted February 25, 2015 #3 Share Posted February 25, 2015 The Freedom is a much bigger ship and has more to offer little ones. We cruise the Freedom in her first year and she was fantastic. Your kiddos will have lots of activities to choose from, even at their young ages. Enjoy! cruse2loose Posted February 25, 2015 #4 Share Posted February 25, 2015 I have seen a couple of picture heavy reviews of the Freedom here, see if you can find them. Looks like a really nice ship
cruiser fanatic Posted February 25, 2015 #5 Share Posted February 25, 2015 Go with Freedom. It has a bigger Camp Ocean and more things to do.
